Below are several that provide general advice to employers on the using employment testing effectively and properly. Guide to Testing and Assessment is an employer's guide to best practices for pre-employment testing. This guide is provided by the U.S. Department of Labor as part of Testing and Assessment Center of the Career OneStop employment and training portal. The Career Resource Library Career Assessment provides additional links and is also part of the Career OneStop web site. The Job Hunters Bible has information on career tests and personality tests, including links to popular instruments. The American Psychological Association Science Directorate has advice for persons trying to locate the right test. While it neither sells nor endorses test instruments, it does provide guidance in using available resources to find psychological tests.
